How Dental Zone handles the details you give on this website.

Last updated 24 October 2026

What we collect

Your internet address is used for a few minutes to stop spam, which allows only a few messages from one address in ten minutes. It is not saved with your message.

  • Contact form: your name, email address and message.
  • For every form, the date and time you sent it and which form it was.

Why we collect it

Dental Zone uses your details only for the reason you gave them, listed here, and for nothing else.

  • Contact and partner messages: so Dental Zone can read what you wrote and reply to you.

Your consent

Contact form and partner enquiry: implied consent. You choose to write to us, the reason is plain, and the details are not sensitive, so sending the message is your consent. Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) that is enough when a person gives ordinary details for an obvious purpose.

You can take your consent back at any time by asking us, as described below. We will then stop using your details for that purpose, which may mean we can no longer reply to you or send you news.

Where it is kept and for how long

Your details are saved on the server that runs this website. It is run for Dental Zone by its website provider, which can reach the stored details only to keep the website working.

Nothing deletes your details on a timer. They stay until you ask for them to be removed.

Who sees it

The people at Dental Zone who answer messages see them. We do not sell your details and we do not use them for advertising.

If Dental Zone keeps a Google Sheet of messages or sign ups, a copy of your details is added to it, and Google stores that copy.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your details

You can ask Dental Zone to show you the details it holds about you, to correct them, to stop using them or to delete them. Email info@dentalzone.ca. Say what you would like, and which form and email address you used so we can find it.

We aim to answer within 30 days, the time PIPEDA allows.

Canadian privacy law

Businesses in Canada follow PIPEDA, the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, when they collect personal details in the course of business. Its basic rules: say why you collect details, collect only what you need, use them only for that reason, ask for consent, and let people see and correct what is held about them.

If you think your details were handled wrongly, tell us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
